Flight Facilities is an anonymous Indie DJ duo who claim on their Myspace[2] and Facebook[3] pages to be from Trinidad and Tobago but are widely quoted as in fact being from Sydney, Australia.[4] There are sources which name the duo members as U-Go-B and Jimmy2sox[5] but nothing official has been released by the group itself. Jimmy2sox's cousin is Gus Da Hoodrat from the Bang Gang DJs.[6]
On the 'Crave You' song they are named as Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell. They have also written tracks for Louis Austen.
The duo first began mixing various songs by artists including Bag Raiders, Toecutter and Sneaky Sound System.[7] Their first original song Crave You featuring Giselle Rosselli received considerable airtime on the Australian radio station Triple J in 2010.[8] Flight Facilities recently completed their first tour, "Maiden Voyage", which began on the 2nd of July 2010. While on tour they played in the following nightclubs: 'Elsewhere' on The Gold Coast, 'Empire' in Brisbane, 'Limbo' in Adelaide, and 'Adult Disco' in Sydney - all in Australia - before going to Japan to play at 'Onzieme' in Osaka, and 'Le Baron' in Tokyo.[9]
